Morgan Projects (MP) is a boutique investment firm based in Phoenix, AZ that focuses on opportunistic commercial and residential real estate investing, as well as small business development.
MP was founded in August of 2011 by Peter Morgan and Laura Morgan when they identified a dislocation in the residential housing market in Phoenix, AZ. Peter and Laura spent the better part of 3 years building a portfolio of over 200 single family residences for rent. Their work in real estate has continued to expand to include Halcyon, a brand devoted to ground up residential development of single family attached townhouses for sale and for rent, as well as opportunistic commercial redevelopment in the Southwestern United States. Morgan Project’s investment thesis expanded into entrepreneurship in June of 2013 when Peter and Laura identified a growing trend in boutique fitness. In the last 11 years they've grown Reformed Pilates, an original concept, from one to eleven units. They are currently planning to grow Reformed Pilates to a total of 50 studios across 5-10 additional markets.

Laura Morgan
Founder
Laura Perry Morgan is a Principal and Co-Founder of Morgan Projects. Her primary focus is new concept development, early stage growth and branding for all of the company's projects, most notably Reformed Pilates. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California in 2008 with a BS in Business Administration and an emphasis in Entrepreneurship. She started her career in finance working on both the Research and Business Development teams for Dorchester Capital Advisors, LLC, a fund of hedge funds based in Los Angeles with over 1 billion AUM.
In 2015, Ms. Morgan was voted top 35 entrepreneurs under 35 by AZ Central. Apart from her own entrepreneurial endeavors, Ms. Morgan also invests in other entrepreneurial ventures and regularly participates in speaking engagements and mentorship programs geared towards developing female entrepreneurs.

Peter MOrgan
Founder
Peter Morgan is a Principal and Founder of Morgan Projects. His primary focus is sourcing investment opportunities, financial modeling and maximizing operational efficiency. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2005 with a BA in International Economics. He received a Masters in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California in 2008, and his MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2011. Prior to founding Morgan Projects, Mr. Morgan was a Pricing & Valuation Analyst for Canyon Capital Advisors, LLC, a hedge fund based in Los Angeles with over 20 billion AUM. Prior to working for Canyon Capital Advisors, LLC, Mr. Morgan worked for WTAS, as well as Wells Fargo.
In 2015, Mr. Morgan was voted top 35 entrepreneurs under 35 by AZ Central.

Morgan properties
Morgan Properties started in August of 2011, when it began purchasing foreclosed single family homes and renting them out in the greater Phoenix Metropolitan area. Peter and Laura saw a direct dislocation in purchase price and the corresponding achievable yields when compared to replacement costs of single family homes. Morgan Properties purchased, rented and inevitably sold over 200 individual units as well as many small 4-20 unit apartment complexes.
Morgan Properties has since moved to ground up development of Single Family Attached (SFA) townhouses under it’s brand Halcyon. (See Below)
Halcyon
Morgan Projects is currently developing two communities under the Halcyon Brand. Halcyon is a brand devoted to ground up residential development of single family attached townhouses for sale and for rent. Halcyon was founded in November 2018 when Morgan Projects identified a gap in the housing market: quality, new build construction sub $400k in areas close to city center. Halcyon's first 14 units are being built for sale and are expected to be delivered in November 2019. Halcyon's second 20 units are being built for rent and are expected to be delivered Q4 2020.
Reformed pilates
Reformed Pilates (Reformed) is a boutique fitness concept that fuses the classical elements of Pilates including balance, flexibility, and core strength with interval training to provide clients of all ability levels with a full body workout. Reformed differentiates itself through its brand and aesthetic as well as its proprietary class structure, routines, and instructor training and development. Reformed opened its first location in June 2013 in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix, AZ. In the past eleven years, it's grown from one to eleven units throughout the valley. Reformed Pilates has slated an additional 6 studios in the Phoenix area and will begin expansion into new markets in 2025 with the goal of 50 studios in the next 5 years.
